Kenya Police reservist from Ol Pejeta Conservancy shot two suspected
poachers Wednesday Morning. The two, poachers escaping on a motorcycle
registration number KMCH971H were cornered and killed at Matigari in Laikipia.

public to forward any information on poachers to police confirming an AK 47
rifle and four rounds of ammunition were recovered from the two.

This comes amidst increased efforts to cub poaching by major wildlife conservation
stakeholders that have seen a drop to poaching incidences nationally. However, the
Laikipia region has had several incidences with the latest before this one
being last month where a poacher was shot dead and another escaped with bullet
