4TH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OPENS

Prime Minister Raila Odinga hosted President Mwai Kibaki today in the lakeside city of Kisumu for the opening of Kenya’s 4^th International Airport, Kisumu International Airport. This was after it was upgraded. The upgrade has enhanced its holding capacity and will now be able to serve regional as well as international flights. The airport is set to open the region to international trade and is now a big boost to the country’s tourism industry. Other three international airports in Kenya include; Jomo Kenyatta (JKIA), Moi and Eldoret.
