6 DAYS MAASAI MARA, LAKE NAKURU AND AMBOSELI

ImageWhen it comes to game-viewing, there is nowhere in Africa richer in wildlife or more eventful in encounters than the Maasai Mara. A pristine wilderness of haunting beauty. On the other hand, Amboseli National Park gives the best chance to come too close to free ranging elephants of Africa. You will also have opportunities to meet the Maasai people and visit a Maasai village. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lake Nakuru, besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi/Masaai Mara
Leave Nairobi in the morning at 8.00 am drive to the view point of the great rift valley, descend the escarpment and drive via Narok then to Maasai Mara for lunch at the campsite followed by afternoon game drive in Masaai Mara famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2 : Masaai Mara.
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and over night in the camp.

Day 3 : Masaai Mara/L.Nakuru
Pre breakfast game drive, return to camp for late breakfast and then leave the camp and proceed to L.Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a Nakuru Hotel.

Day 4 : Nakuru/Amboseli
After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingos and other water birds. Leave lake Nakuru National Park to proceed to Amboseli National Park with lunch en route for dinner and overnight at a camp in Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli
A full day of game viewing. After breakfast, we will take a game drive. There will be an option to visit a Maasai village. Lunch will be served later back at the camp. It will be followed by a late afternoon game drive and in the evening dinner will be served with an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6: Amboseli/Nairobi
After breakfast we will leave the camp for a game drive in the park as we leave the Amboseli National Park for Nairobi with Picnic lunch served en route arriving in Nairobi late afternoon.
